It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the web page of the Haitian Center for Training, Social Economy, and Integrated Development (CHFESDI). Our mission is to contribute to the creation of a better country where every Haitian has a place, can lead a dignified life, and can participate, according to their potential, in social life, collective progress, and the integrated development of Haiti. This is the vision that inspired the founding of CHFESDI.

As you explore our website, you will find that CHFESDI is an organization whose leadership​

is central to the strategic development of Haiti. 

​

It is an organization that calls upon the national conscience of Haitians, as well as the contributions of international stakeholders. Whether these actors are working in Haiti or in the diaspora, whether they are professionals or ordinary citizens eager to contribute to the country’s development, whether they are national and governmental leaders or international donors, CHFESDI will work in partnership and collaboration with them to fight against extreme poverty ravaging the country, combat social exclusion, promote the well-being of all Haitians, promote gender equality, defend gender equality, ensure human dignity and the rights of all individuals, and above all, tackle the challenges of underdevelopment in Haiti.

Our organization will contribute to the guidance and integration of the Haitian people into an economic and social structure focused on maximizing resources, to overcome the challenges that prevent Haiti from moving from being the poorest country in the hemisphere to a country on the path of real development. We will thus emphasize the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals and aim for a growth level that is in line with human development—a growth that will be driven by poverty reduction, the eradication of social inequalities, the creation of jobs, social integration, and the involvement of citizens in co-creating their country. Every Haitian, every organization, and every institution working in their fields of activity, according to their skills and resources, will be a key partner of CHFESDI, opening the way to economic and social development and citizen participation.

As you explore our webpage, you will understand that CHFESDI aims to be a leader, both nationally and internationally, in defending the rights and interests of women, youth, and children. We will serve Haitian citizens through everything we undertake in terms of programs, projects, development initiatives, and social and economic policies. Our development approach will allow all segments of society to engage in concrete social actions and economic policies to contribute to Haiti’s growth and improve the quality of life for the population.
