a message from the founder
Dear Internet users,
It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the web page of the Haitian Center for Training, Social Economy, and Integrated Development (CHFESDI). Our mission is to contribute to the creation of a better country where every Haitian has a place, can lead a dignified life, and can participate, according to their potential, in social life, collective progress, and the integrated development of Haiti. This is the vision that inspired the founding of CHFESDI.
As you explore our website, you will find that CHFESDI is an organization whose leadership is central to the strategic development of Haiti. It is an organization that calls upon the national conscience of Haitians, as well as the contributions of international stakeholders. Whether these actors are working in Haiti or in the diaspora, whether they are professionals or ordinary citizens willing to contribute to the development of the country, or whether they are national and governmental leaders, or international donors, CHFESDI is committed to working in partnership and collaboration with all of them. Together, we aim to fight against the rampant poverty that devastates the country, combat social exclusion, promote the development of all Haitians, and promote gender equality. about us
Founded in 2017, CHFESDI is a Training and Community Services Center dedicated to being a social project. The organization focuses on the strengths of Haitian professionals both within Haiti and abroad, contributing to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN, as part of Haiti's integrated development. We focus on key areas of intervention and the core aspects of our mission to improve the living conditions of the Haitian population.

There is much to be done to address the situation in Haiti. As stakeholders who are fully aware of the situation and understand the real needs of the country, the initiators and leaders of CHFESDI are determined to contribute to overcoming the challenge of Haiti’s development. The consequences of the development deficit have already caused the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives. CHFESDI will work in solid partnership with institutions in Canada and other institutions from the international community through concrete projects, including, but not limited to:

Guirlande Institut Supérieur de Haute Couture & de Stylisme (GISHCS), a professional school founded by CHFESDI, with the collaboration of Ms. Guirlande Pierre, to support the empowerment of young Haitian women and single mothers.
The highway to development in Haiti is possible through the civic contribution of every Haitian. Whether they are in Haiti or in the Diaspora. Thanks to the collaborative work between CHFESDI and Guirlande Institut Supérieur de Haute Couture & de Stylisme (GISHCS), these sandals are produced by our learners. Support these low-income Haitian talents by purchasing their products. Let's work together for the socio-economic integration and economic independence of Haitian women.

Our Partners
We are an organization through which development projects funded by international organizations will be implemented. Our organization serves as a hub, or the backdrop, for the international community's interventions regarding the emergence of economic and social development, and good governance. The collaboration we offer is primarily focused on concrete actions capable of addressing the democratic and governance deficits faced by Haitian policymakers and leaders of grassroots organizations.
We will work closely with our national and international partners to mitigate internal constraints such as governance issues, economic constraints, the low level of technical and professional training among youth, the training of managers and public servants, the strengthening of human resources in grassroots organizations, as well as schooling in rural and marginalized areas.
At the national level, we will work in consultation with grassroots organizations, public servants, and government agencies in all areas that promote the economic and social development of Haiti. At the international level, we will collaborate with international organizations to ensure the coherence of all interventions aimed at sustainable development and the collective well-being of Haitians. The programs and projects we will implement over the coming years cover all areas of human activity that are likely to bring about real socio-economic change, contribute to sustainable development efforts, and ensure good governance.
